New York.

What comes to mind when you hear it?

Skyscrapers, yellow cabs, and millions of people?

It is worth checking out the Empire State Building, or the museums – I’ve done it myself more than once. But what if I told you that there are countless fascinating places in New York outside the world of tourist attractions? Places that will amaze you, and are a short drive away, places that travel brochures usually don’t tell about (because, after all, the image of New York is high risers and millions of people).

Whether you are a tourist or a long time resident, why not do something different?

When I tell New Yorkers about local sites I’ve been to, they never fail to be surprised. “I didn’t know about that place,” they say.

New York state offers boundless opportunities to see and experience unique and incredible places – places you never knew were there! Or maybe you heard about them but said to yourself “Some day…”. That day is now! You only live once. Go and live, don’t wait for anything or anyone!

You don’t need to break the bank to have a weekend retreat or a day trip and enjoy fresh atmosphere that will leave you reminiscing for weeks and months.

No suit cases, no sweat (maybe a little from the sun). Just hop on board and go have fun adventures! And don’t forget to follow my blog:)
